Crowds : Osho

I don’t want any crowds in the world. Whether they have gathered in the name of religions, or in the name of nationality, or in the name of race, it does not matter. The crowd as such is ugly, and the crowd has committed the greatest crimes in the world, because the world has no consciousness. It is a collective unconsciousness.

The Power of Saturn

Saturn or 'Shani' is considered the most malefic of all planets as He is responsible for imposing on us the effects of our 'bad' karmas. An afflicted Saturn can lead one to extreme vices, company of individuals with a bad character and excessive laziness in all aspects of life hence intense dissatisfaction. There is really no escape form the 'grip of Saturn' and it requires a superhuman effort to break free. I reject the notion that Saturn is a spiritual planet. It can be, but 99% of humans do not have the mindset or level of perception to convince themselves that the obstacles/delays/challenges they are encountering can potentially be the very catalyst to lead them to a higher purpose. In fact quite the opposite happens - to deal with these problems one often turns to distractionary vices and develops a negative, battered, nervous and weak psychology that will take several lifetimes to recover from. It’s like a never ending spiral that raises the balance of negative karma's. Wherever Saturn is in a chart - albeit it exalted or well aspected - is where the individual will face the majority of challenges in their life. The extent of suffering these challenges will impose is mitigated ( not eliminated) by a positive Saturn placement. There is no reward after Saturn has done His damage. This is not His role. The reward only exists when the chart has strongly placed personal planets, especially Mercury and the Moon blessed with the spiritualizing aspect of Jupiter which can work in tandem to support the intellect and transform the perception and can acknowledge the suffering as a character reforming force. Only a lucky few are born with such a configuration and the majority are in for the long haul were Saturn will over and over and over again inflict suffering and the individual will continue to create a cause which will lead to a Saturnian effect.

The Sun in Aries

A breif overview, neglecting some of the significations such as health and father. Mars is ruled by Aries and Sun is friendly to this planet. Thus we have a Mars-Sun (warrior-king) combination which gives action that is motivated by righteous inclinations, the desire to rise in onessphere and an abundance of strength. The direction and pathway in ones life will be clear and unambiguous and the native will endure on this route with intense motivation and strong sense of what is right and what is wrong. Therefore this native will inspire those around him and have natural leadership traits. This may detract from domestic life where commitments will be regarded as unnecessarydistractions and annoyances, and where one will cut an overly authorititive and dominating figure . In relationships especially, asthe Sun will cast a powerful and direct aspect on Libra, the sign ofrelationships/marriage and Sun`s debilitation. This will inhibit the ability to reconcile and compromise, and will add a natural sharp coating to the personality. Hence popularity may not be extreme but the native will be respected more out of fear and due to his power. An additional insight is that Aries is the sign that debilitates the humble Saturn, the planet of hardwork, and the very fact that Aries exalts a royal planet such as the Sun indicates that the nature will be to command and lead rather than toil to any great extent. It can thus be deduced that success will come with relative ease, due to the adoption of a highly efficient strategy, fully in tune with ones strengths. Sun in Aries provides a set-up via which one can focus on ones self and abide by ones duties in accordance with his inherent principles.
